This month we had a sketch challenge. The beautiful layout was designed by Sharni Haines.
We had a special occasion this month with Baby B's baptism! It was a special day with a small private ceremony at my daughter's, in-law's house. An old fashioned baptism in the lake. The weather was hot so wading into the water was a joy. Baby B didn't even cry when the water was poured on his head!
I used Night of Navy for the border and the photo mats. The color coordinates with the photos well and is a coordinating color for the Designer Series Paper I wanted to use. I love all of the fun patterns in the Playing With Patterns Designer Series Paper and thought it would make a fun page for a little boy.
I also love the Dove from the current August - December 2020 Mini catalog and thought is was very appropriate for this celebration. Remember, not to let yourself be limited to using the stamp sets/dies for only the occasion used in the catalogs. Be creative!!
Unfortunately the stamp set I had on hand for the crosses retired with the January - June 2020 Mini catalog but I had to have it on this page. I also used it to create the cupcake toppers for the luncheon after the baptism.
